They’ll be battling in the second race of the three-race Muscle Car Series. It’s intense drag racing that brings race fans back year after year.
Drivers in the Muscle Car Series are competing for series points, prize money, and ultimately, a series championship. The race features cars in Outlaw Pro Mod, Outlaw, King Street, Real Street, True Street and 660 Outlaw Street classes. The race will also includes 10 Index classes, the winners of which have a separate run-off to crown the Index Class Champion. Three Strip Eliminator classes, Truck Eliminator and Manual Transmission class round out the race schedule. It’s a full weekend of racing, with qualifying that runs Friday and Saturday, and eliminations on Sunday.
The 2.5-mile Competition Road Course will be busy as well all weekend, with amazing wheel-to-wheel road racing courtesy of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). Fans will see some unique race cars, including those racing in the popular Vintage Class. Practice and qualifying are on Saturday, with racing on Sunday.
The Show & Go wouldn’t be the same without a bunch of other activities off the track. Saturday’s schedule includes a Classic Car Show in front of the brick condos, a spectacular fireworks display and live music at The Wheelie Bar & Grille.
