NHRA Nationals Camping & Lodging

One of the features that makes Brainerd International Raceway unique among motorsports facilities is the variety of lodging opportunities it has on site or nearby. Rustic camping, RV sites and deluxe condo suites are available on site, while the Brainerd Lakes Area has a wide variety of hotels, resorts and bed and breakfasts. Deluxe Condo Suites – Full for the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals
Our 12 deluxe condo suites have all the comforts of home, including two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a spacious living room with fireplace and a deck. The condos face the drag strip starting line and are adjacent to the staging area, making for an excellent setting to watch world-class racing. RV Sites – Full for the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals
BIR has 164 full-service RV sites that are on prime real estate as they wrap around our scenic water feature. These sites have water, electricity, sewer and room to stretch out and get comfortable. Restricted Family Camping
The Restricted Family Camping Area is located on our go-kart track and is designed for families, especially those with young children. With its own set of rules and regulations, this area is closer to the action and motorized vehicle activity is restricted for the safety of the children.

Family Camping
The Family Camping Area is located show side of our new bridge and is designed for families and those looking for a bit quieter of a night.

Open Camping – The Zoo!
BIR’s Open Camping Area, commonly referred to as The Zoo, is legendary among NHRA drivers, teams and fans. Located over the new bridge on the road course infield, about 200 acres are open to rustic camping on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s easily the signature feature of the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals, as hundreds of campers start lining up the Sunday before the event to get their favorite spot. You have to see it to believe it. Restrooms and showers are conveniently located throughout the grounds.
