Gar Robinson won the first of two 100-mile Trans Am Series races Sunday, while Duluth’s Tommy Archer took second. Paul Fix took first in the second race, passing Cliff Ebben on the final lap in dramatic fashion. The two races were the finale of the 30th Annual PleasureLand RV Show & Go.
Tony Buffomante and Cliff Ebben claimed the pole positions today for Sunday’s two 100-mile Ryan Companies Independence Day Classic Trans Am Series races, which are the grand finale of the 30th Annual PleasureLand RV Show & Go. Buffomante races in the TA2 class and Ebben in the TA class.

The Trans Am Series added a second race to Sunday’s finale of the 30th PleasureLand RV Show & Go. With Muscle Car Series drag racing, NASA road racing, live music, a classic car show and fireworks, the event will be even bigger and better with the expanded Ryan Companies Independence Day Classic.
Bryce Miller lost one race all weekend on the drag strip, as the Bracket Drag Racing Series was in high gear during the Wet & Wild Weekend that also featured Superbike racing and snowmobiles racing on open water, courtesy of the International Watercross Association.

Ray Fuchs raced his ’53 Studebaker to a Pro Outlaw win last weekend during the 8th Annual Street Car Showdown. With the Muscle Car Series on the drag strip and the SCCA Harvey West Memorial Day Classic on the road course, racers kicked off the season in grand fashion.
Sid Osterman, in his first year drag racing in the Sportsman Class, swept the weekend with two wins and a 10-race winning streak. It was the second weekend of the Bracket Drag Racing Series, which included the World Racing League on the road course.
The first major event of the year at BIR is Memorial Day weekend. The 8th Annual Street Car Showdown kicks off the three-race Muscle Car Series on the drag strip while the SCCA will be on the road course for the Harvey West Memorial Day Classic. A great way to get your summer started.
