Bracket Drag Racers return for start of 2016 season

The Bracket Drag Racing Series kicks off this weekend, with 6 weekends and 12 races on the 2016 schedule. It’ll be a full weekend of great drag racing action, with winners crowned both Saturday and Sunday.

Wednesday Night Drags start this week!

Wednesday Night Drags – Street Legal Style kicks off the 2016 season this week. Bring your street-legal car, truck or bike and make as many runs as time allows on the fastest drag strip in the country. It’s more fun than you can imagine!

Drag racers honored at annual banquet

Drag racers in BIR’s Bracket Drag Racing Series and the Muscle Car Series were honored Feb. 20 at the Annual Racer Banquet. Class winners were recognized as were four individuals who took home awards for their accomplishments.

Bracket drag racers claim series championships

BIR announced the series champs from the 2015 Bracket Drag Racing Series. Congratulations to all the racers for an excellent season of racing. Watch for details of the Annual Racer Banquet that will be coming up this winter.

Bracket Drag Racing Series ends on high note

BIR’s Bracket Drag Racing Series ended Sunday, with six racers taking home Wally trophies by winning their class during the annual National Dragster Challenge. Everyone was battling for series points and a shot at a series championship.

BIR crowns 2015 Muscle Car Series champs

BIR announced the new champions of the Muscle Car Series. The three-race series on the drag strip provided some incredible racing, as cars in the seven Heads-Up Classes continue to get faster and faster. Only two racers, Rick Schmidt and David Senderhauf, repeated as champs this year.

BIR takes first at ET Finals; Schmall, Paulson win classes

BIR’s 40-member drag racing team took first place at the NHRA West Central Summit Racing ET Finals at Heartland Park in Topeka, Kan., last weekend. Brandon Schmall and Jimmy Paulson took first in their respective classes as well. Congratulations to all!
