BIR’s 2017 racing schedule is set! As fans have come to expect, the schedule has a wide mix of motorsports. The highlight of the schedule is, of course, the 36th Annual Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals in August. Check out the lineup here.
BIR’s Bracket Drag Racing Series ended in grand fashion last weekend, with 10 racers earning Wally trophies and others winning series championships. The last drag race of the season attracted more than 350 drivers.
The 8th annual Muscle Car Series concluded, with all new faces at the top of the point standings except for Dan Gefre, who repeated in the True Street class. With more than 300 cars racing in the three-race series, competition was tight with great action in all the classes. Congrats winners!
The Central Roadracing Association wrapped up its 2016 season last weekend at BIR, with Kyle Ohnsorg winning the CRA Championship. The weekend concluded with a five-hour endurance race Sunday afternoon. Read all the results here.
BIR’s Bracket Drag Racing Series concludes this weekend, with series championships on the line in 10 classes. Saturday’s racing also includes a chance for drag racers to win a Wally trophy.
Here is what’s in store for race fans this weekend: Superbike racing on the road course and snowmobiles racing on Lake BIR. It’s Wet & Wild 2.0, with season finales for both the Central Roadracing Association and the International Watercross Association. Crazy racing is on tap!
BIR’s team of 40 drag racers placed third last weekend in the NHRA West Central Summit Racing ET Finals at Heartland Park in Topeka, Kan. The team was the defending champion. Brandon Schmall won the Sportsman class.
