Doug Peterson repeated as winner of the Trans Am Series race Sunday during the 26th Annual Muscle Car Series. The race was the showcase event for the weekend and showed why the series continues to grow in popularity as the racing action was intense.

This year’s Muscle Car Shootout features the debut of the Pirelli World Challenge, which joins the Trans Am Series and the SCCA Jack Pine Sprints on the road course and the grand finale of the Muscle Car Series on the drag strip. It’s Labor Day weekend!
