NHRA Nationals: Fans can get in on the action

There’s a lot more to do at the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals than watch 10,000-horsepower dragsters fly down the dragstrip. There’s a lot to see and do in the pit area, Nitro Alley midway and even on the track itself.

KQDS Morning Show broadcasts live from BIR

KQDS-FM’s Morning Show, the top-rated show in northeast Minnesota, will be broadcasting live from BIR’s Tower Suites this Friday from 6-10 a.m. Tune in or stream it from KQ’s website.

High schoolers target fuel efficiency in Supermileage Challenge

Teams from more than 75 high schools throughout the state were at BIR with 120 cars that they built as they spent two days competing to see which were the most fuel efficient. It was the 29th Annual Supermileage Challenge, sponsored by the Minnesota Technology & Engineering Education Association.
