This week is the first Wednesday Night Street Drags of the season. Anyone with a street-legal car, truck or bike can run on BIR’s world-class drag strip as times as time allows. The event also includes autocross. Gates open at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 5 p.m.
Bill Doolittle, a drag racing enthusiast and track worker at BIR, passed away last month but will be honored this Saturday at the conclusion of racing when Kitty’s Tree will be re-dedicated. Everyone is welcome to attend. RIP Bill!
