BIR to exhibit at the World of Wheels, Mpls Auto Show, GSTA Spectacular

(February 23, 2010) - Check out Brainerd International Raceway's displays at the upcoming World of Wheels, Minneapolis Auto Show and GSTA Rod & Custom Spectacular, all of which will take place in the next month in the Twin Cities. 

BIR and the BIR Performance Driving School will be on hand to talk about the 2010 season, the new and returning racing events that are scheduled and what changes fans and racers can expect at the track this season. You can also pick up a copy of the 2010 BIR Fan Guide and a wallet schedule with details of how to register for free tickets to BIR events, including Grand Prize packages for the NHRA Lucas Oil Nationals and the BIR Performance Driving School.

The World of Wheels, Feb. 26-28 at the River Centre in downtown St. Paul, is the premier rod and custom car show in the Twin Cities. You'll see a fantastic display of cars, including the Hudson Hornet from the hit film "Cars," the Ratical Rod altered street coup, El Tiki from the pages of Ol Skool Rodz, Zinger Corvette and Volkswagon, and Motorama, featuring traditional rods, customs and bobbers. Guest appearances by Jake T. Austin, the Vikings Cheerleaders, the Timberwolves Dance Team and much more. 

The 37th Annual Minneapolis Auto Show is March 6-14 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. It's 250,000 square feet of new models representing 29 different makes of domestic and imported cars, trucks, SUVs and more. More than 500 cars will be on display, and BIR will be right in the thick of it. It's the seventh largest car show in the country. 

The 54th Annual Gopher State Timing Association Rod & Custom Spectacular is March 27-28 at the State Fair Coliseum in St. Paul. BIR is an event sponsor and will have a display among the collection of rod and custom cars that will fill up the 50,000-square-foot Coliseum.
